Located in Hanley Falls, this deck girder bridge crosses the Yellow Medicine River.
Originally built in 1902, the main deck girder span was supplemented by three more deck girders in 1913. The current bridge rests on a combination of stone and concrete substructures.
The four deck girder spans are heavily built. The stone masonry piers have been regrouted recently, increasing the lifespan of them.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in fair to good condition.
The author has ranked the bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
